WHO WE ARE
SUSTAINABLE WORLD INITIATIVES (SWI) , is a Tanzanian youth led Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act, No. 24 of 2002 as it amended from time to time, with registration entity number 00NGO/R/1754. Established in March 24, 2021, SWI is committed to promoting sustainable development, environmental conservation, and youth empowerment. Sustainable World Initiatives is committed to promoting sustainability practices and fostering the inclusion of young people in the journey towards the 2030 Agenda. We are dedicated to empowering youth and local communities by implementing innovative, nature-based solutions that drive positive change and build a more sustainable future

Our Principle
We embrace each other with love, care, and respect, as kin, as family, treating our clients as partners with long-term relationship. It shapes the way we treat everyone, to create positive experiences straight from the heart.
OUR FOCUS
- Climate actions: mangrove restoration, afforestation, urban farming.
- Waste management and clean up. Like Africa’s biggest cleanup, Indian Ocean live beach clean-up.
- Youth empowerment and capacity building. Eg vijana craft, legacy of young people, vijana forum and symposium.
