INDIAN OCEAN SYMPOSIUM

On june 10, 2024, the Sustainable World Initiatives hosted the Indian Ocean Symposium at the University of Dar Es Salaam, Bringing together over 800 stakeholders from various sectors to address the pressing issue of plastic poution in the Indian Ocean. The symposium served as a collaborative platform for researchers , poycymakers, Industry leaders, and environmental advocates to share innovatives soutions and best practices aimed at matigating plastic waste.
